Keeping your social media social
There is little wonder why they call social media - social.
Never was a word so apt but also so often overlooked. Social media is a chance to engage with people in a way which they find both comfortable and easy to understand.
If you are a business, it is not a tool to beat people with about how great you are or why your services are a must. Of course all social channels can be used to raise awareness. And if you find new customers from the back of this then so far so good.
But your social media must act as a natural communicator with all those around you. People should expect to learn something from your posts, they should enjoy your words of wisdom and that will make them far more inclined to follow, return for more - and finally trust you to provide them with the services you offer.
You are publishing your brand to the world and every time you post people will be making up their mind about you and what you offer. Make every post count.
