The ways to reach customers are of course many and varied. But one area which is often overlooked is the power of the word and good copy.
Think about it, what better way is there to describe exactly why customers should use your business than with crisp and interesting copy which makes the reader want to find out more.
Blogs are of course great for doing this.
They give businesses the chance to describe their key USP and also allow a little personality to come into play as well. Very often people buy from people, and if you can show what the ethos is behind your business then a little can go a long way.
So you’re ready to write, what do you say?
The obvious answer is to write from experience.
1.What is your area of expertise? Whatever business you are in you have a knowledge which is of value to clients and customers. Be proud to tell them what you know.
2.Why do people contact you? What questions are you asked by customers and what information would be of use to them.
3.What are the current trends in your industry? You live your business, as an insider you are perfectly placed to determine what the new trends are and what people should be aware of.
4.What are you promoting at the moment? It’s not the hard sell but you are marketing yourself, there’s no harm in telling your customers about your latest offer, after all you believe in what you do, so should they.
